1. They assume that what is on the screen is all you get with Act! In reality Act! is made to be customized. By working with an Act! consultant, Act! can be tailored to meet the needs of your individual business. Custom fields can be created, tables can be added, integration with your other systems can be deployed.
  2. They think they need other applications in addition to Act!. Over the past couple of years Act! has integrated many functions into the application. It has a calendar application to allow your clients to book appointments with you, it has a quoting application, it has a mobile application, it has Email marketing, it has forms, surveys, website chat and event management. These are now ALL bundled into the Act! Advantage product at no extra cost.
  3. They assume Act! can only be deployed on the desktop. The reality is that Act! can be deployed however you would like. It can be on the desktop, but you can also access it via the web, via your phone, or any combination thereof.
  4. They think Act! is contact centric only, many Act! users have not explored the Company entity in Act! allowing you to roll up contacts and have a more account centric view.
